This is a section where I post poems sent to me by people who have found my site and wish to display their own works. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

This poem is by Robert Watson

A Little Truth

When I speak
I speak to some form of you.
When I weep
I weep your unwept tears.

When I touch
The fingertips of joy
Trace the images
That emulate your ghost:

A wisp of smoke
Disappearing into breezes
Just before whispering in my ear,
"I know that you are alive."

Gazing into the emptiness of spaces
Left behind
Wrapped within the epiphanies
Of sorrow and despair

I know this one little truth with great certainty:
There is something stronger than Death,
Lasting longer than Eternity.
I know its name as Loneliness.
