This is a section where I post poems sent to me by people who have found my site and wish to display their own works. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
This poem is by Rebecca Lashell Lamb
thoughts swarming in my head...
piling up into a mountain...
the little old hermit found on the tip...
yelling at the top of his lungs...
the only soul who hears him is a mountain goat...
the goat just runs away...
passing through all the trees...
the squirrels see him and scurry up...
they leave all their homes behind...
disturbing the birds who start flying in circles...
up and up and up...
finally they reach my mind...
i wake up in a panic...
my eyes glazed over as i stare straight ahead...
what should i do now?
