This is a section where I post poems sent to me by people who have found my site and wish to display their own works. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

This poem is by Aaron J. Balko

Snowfall (1992)

Each microscopic glass strand
of rigid silk, bound by
the wind, grabbed up
by the earth.
Swirling like waters.
Milky stars reflected
in the moon.
Fragile works, destroyed
by the softest caress
of any not timeless.
How quickly
vast, perfect martyr
scarred
by children-
grabbing up the beauty
they can not hold.
Drinking
joy. Never
realizing.
