Dangerous

Life is fairly routine these days.
Busy and new, but holding few surprises.

Not that life ever saw me in leather
with the wind in my hair,
but it has seen me in wilder times.

When I nearly gave up everything
for one big chance in Texas.
It was tempting. Tempting.

But I was too safe,
and the prize too dangerous.

As it turns out,
so was staying . . .
wondering . . .

Dangerous.
