This is a section where I post poems sent to me by people who have found my site and wish to display their own works. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Reminders

I would forget
And forget it all
I could
And still remain
Even as a shell
As hollow and restrained

But each death
That day brought
And each night
Of endless thought
Would still remind
Of hand and foot
Of mouth and ear
And most of all
The eyes

I would give my life
Nay, my soul
To write these words
For only you to hear

I would slash these wrists
With sentiments
Too great to bear
With single hearts
I need the two
To feel the passion
That drains into this blood
That keeps on pumping
As reminder
That you live
