This is a section where I post poems sent to me by people who have found my site and wish to display their own works. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

This poem is by Rachel.

Why Do You Me So?

Your simple gaze wounds my heart,
Do you know how much you tear me apart?
Tip-toe, trying hard not to see.
Could it be it's all on me?
Oh no, step back, don't want you to see me.
How can it be, this twisted fate?
To stop, it's now too late.
I spy, you look.
Take a chance, see what happens.
The sunny days are gone fron here.
No more songs of happy cheer.
Can't you see me sinking deep.
You try to what you want to speak.
Waking, laughing, hoping to find,
Just a piece of my wondering mind.
