Poetry by Gabriel Mangual

Added 15 November 2009

This is a section where I post poems sent to me by people who have found my site and wish to display their own works. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

This poem is by Gabriel Mangual, who first shared his poetry with us in 2003 at the age of 16. He is currently serving in the U.S. Marines. Thanks Gabriel!

Lack of Endeavor

Dreamt that we were together,
Felt you finger tips,
Felt you not hold anything back;
Forgot your lack of endeavor,
I'd give my life for this,
You wouldn't know anything about that;
Realized you're gone forever,
Never to have bliss,
Now my heart is turned bitter and black.
