THE SOUND OF SILENCE

Do not push me away
I know not how to do
Yet exactly what I do
Lonely walk in the woods
Killing time they call it -
Trees speak the ancient silence
Language long forgotten
Hasty life of reckoning
People are always deciding for me
Living their lives through me.
Get out of my head please -
Let me be; let me speak
The silent language of the trees
Cacoughany of callings
Silence comes to rescue me.
