This is a section where I post poems sent to me by people who have found my site and wish to display their own works. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Untitled 1

Are you up at two a.m.
doing things you shouldn't do
thinking of things
that never should have been

And the limelight's faded
leaving you in shadows of strange hues
waiting to awaken
from the dream your life has been

None of this will have meaning
if you didn't listen
to what I said
and in sixty seconds you'll forget it
and in sixty years we'll
both be dead

There's no wondering what this place is
and there's no wondering where I stand
I'm at the ledge that drops you off
into the company of the damned
