[September] The traditional depiction for the month of September is that of the grape harvest. The site of this particular harvest is the vineyard at Saumur, France. There is a montjoy in the middle distance, and the pillar of a drawbridge in the far right at mid height. The fence in the middle ground, which seems to be made of intertwined sticks/vines, may well be a tilting field (for jousting competitions).
